[edit]- In the second sentence it says Ford killed six people when in the box on the right it says she killed seven and you went on to say that in the paper as well.
- Also confusing because you said her appeals to her death sentence failed yet she died from emphysema instead of the death sentence.
- I would add more structure to your page. That intro paragraph explaining the overview is good but maybe start a new heading like "The Incident" or "The Attack" or something
- I would start the second paragraph saying something like "At the time of the attack, Ford's blood-alcohol ........" so you orient the readers.
- During the 100-foot drive "on the sidewalk".......
- When "Ford" asked Oakes how many people she killed...
- Before the paragraph "On August 4, 1981, Ford was found" you could have a heading like "Trials" or something
- I would put the sentence "Even though seven people died as a result of Ford's attack, issues on the indictment caused Ford" right after you say "she was found guilty on six counts of murder on March 19, 1982."
- It's unclear what the final sentence is, you say three different people's opinions, mentally ill, evil personified, and a reincarnation. At the very very end of this paragraph I would put the sentence "On March 28, 1982, the jury decided she was to be put to death." So my suggestion to this paragraph would be:
On August 4, 1981, Ford was found competent to stand trial after being found incompetent on January 29th of that year. The trial lasted almost five months. After 13 hours of deliberation, a jury composed of seven women and five men found Ford guilty on six counts of murder and 23 counts of attempted murder on March 19, 1982. Even though seven people died as a result of Ford's attack, issues in the indictment caused Ford to only be charged with six. Ford's lawyer claimed she was mentally ill with schizophrenia and shouldn't be put to death, rather spend the rest of her life in a mental institution, while the District Attorney called her "evil personified" and fought for Ford to be found legally sane. Ford herself went on the stand and testified that she believed she was the reincarnation of Jesus and therefor incapable of sin. On March 28, 1982, the jury decided she was to be put to death.
- I'm confused at the part when you said she turned the gun on herself which usually means she killed herself so maybe explain what happened like whether Ford just didn't pull the trigger or if she missed or only hit her arm so she lived or what happened.
- Also confused what happens after the trials..... is she put to death or not because you say she dies in a correctional center.
- Maybe would add more pictures and more information on what happened after the incident like how she ended up in the correctional center and stuff like that.
-Otherwise super interesting and a good page!!!
-PS SUPER interesting that she was a teacher!!!! If you could find information on that that would be so cool because I'd be scared to have someone like that be my teacher!

[edit]In general, the topic for this Wikipedia article is remarkable. However, this article needs to be "polished."
Here are some of my recommendations for fixing this article:
First, try to add chain links to other Wikipedia articles; for example, the article mentions that Priscilla suffered from emphysema. Well, what is emphysema?
Second, try to double-check the sentence structure/flow in the article; for example, the article's introduction says:
"Priscilla Joyce Ford (February 10, 1929[1] – January 29, 2005[2]) was a mass murderer who was sentenced to death after driving her Lincoln Continental down a sidewalk in Reno, Nevada on Thanksgiving Day in 1980.[3] The attack killed six people and injured 23 more. She had schizophrenia."
Perhaps, the sentence could be edited as follows:
"Priscilla Joyce Ford (February 10, 1929[1] - January 29, 2005[2]) was a schizophrenic who committed a mass murder on Thanksgiving Day in 1980 by driving her Lincoln Continental on a pedestrian sidewalk in Reno, Neva. Six civilians were killed and 23 were injured in this incident. Ford was put on trial for this crime and was found guilty for murder. The judge preceding Ford's trial sentenced her to death row."
Finally, the article says that Ford claimed to be the reincarnation of Jesus Christ; this fact needs to be cited. It would also be a good idea to make reference to the Wikipedia article of "individuals who claim to be the reincarnation of Christ" in the "See also" section.
Above all, I believe you are on the right track in designing this article.
Good job!

Requested move 7 May 2016
[edit]- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the move request was: not moved. Unfortunately for the actress/model, the mass murderer dominates search results, and she would also be competing for WP:primary topic status with a Reno-based band, named after the mass-murderer, who just released an album last year. wbm1058 (talk) 21:04, 14 May 2016 (UTC)
Priscilla Ford → Priscilla Joyce Ford – Change of name requested by a Priscilla Ford at OTRS(2016050610004321) :- Priscilla Ford February/10/1929 is in conflict with Actress and Model Priscilla Ford (current) due to the same name. I would like to change the title page of Priscilla Ford to her full legal name Priscilla Joyce Ford to avoid any more confusion with Actress and Model Priscilla Ford (Current) References for Actress and Model Priscilla Ford ... http://www.imdb.com/name/nm5233712/ and http://civilclothing.com/tag/priscilla-ford/ Ronhjones (Talk) 22:30, 7 May 2016 (UTC)
- Comment. The problem is that there is currently no article on the actress/model (or at least a subtopic covered by an existing article). Unless she qualifies under Wikipedia's General Notability Guideline and Wikipedia:Notability (people), and an article is in fact created or content added to an existing article, changing the title on this existing Priscilla Ford article would amount to an unnecessary disambiguation. We normally only disambiguate for articles/content that currently exist, not for subjects that do not have an article/content yet, or have not been proven yet to pass WP:GNG and WP:BIO. And then, it has to be proven whether or not there is a primary topic for "Priscilla Ford". Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information that accounts for every non-notable person. Zzyzx11 (talk) 00:38, 8 May 2016 (UTC)
- Please also note that those two references cited alone, one for imdb.com (a user-generated site) and the other to a e-commerce site, would not normally qualify as third-party reliable sources for determining whether a person passes Wikipedia's notability guidelines for inclusion. Zzyzx11 (talk) 01:10, 8 May 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose - Many sources refer her as "Priscilla Ford". Not much on her middle name. George Ho (talk) 07:41, 14 May 2016 (UTC)
